Medicare Open Enrollment dates

Medicare Open Enrollment runs from October 15 through December 7. Changes made during this period generally take effect January 1. Other enrollment periods may apply depending on your current coverage and circumstances.

The Annual Enrollment Period ends December 7. Some people may qualify for another enrollment period based on their coverage or circumstances.
